Joe Simpson may be referred to as a 'stage father,' managing both of his daughters' careers, selling their private lives in reality shows and making them successful pop stars but he won't let them go to rehab.
With many pop stars entering rehab for different problems and addictions, such as Britney Spears' infamous meltdown, Simpson says his daughters Jessica and Ashlee will not fall apart.
The former minister turned music manager said, "I would never let that happen to my daughters."
Of Spears' current situation, Simpson added, "Hopefully, her family will take care of the situation."
While Simpson won't see his daughters fall into addiction, he has no problem with them dating. As Jessica's relationship with John Mayer heats up, Ashlee is busy denying links to many eligible bachelors. The "Pieces Of Me" singer has recently been linked to Pete Wentz and Ryan Philippe, however a connection to her music producer made her publicly deny any romantic links.
After leaving a club with Chad Hugo, the singer and actress's rep said that reports of a romance were wrong. She said, "That is not true. She is working with Chadon her new album . There is nothing romantic going on."
