While it is heartbreaking to think that George Clooney's genes will not be carried on, the aging bachelor is sticking to his instincts.
The Oscar winner has maintained his single status for years and continues to say he will not become a dad.
Clooney, who has recently filmed "Ocean's 13" with new fathers Brad Pitt and Matt Damon, is not going to follow his friends who have been staying in.
He said, "I don't know why everyone wants me to become a father - I'm so selfish and I get nervous around kids and I know I'm not ready for that kind of life."
Although he is approaching 50-years-old, Clooney is still enjoying his bachelorhood - going out with friends, partying and having no parental responsibility.
He continued, "I don't live at full tilt the way I used to. You begin to hate waking up with the kind of hangover you get from going on huge benders with your buddies."
At least one of the sexiest men alive will stay available for all women to dream.
