Paris is going to jail, Lindsay is allegedly snorting cocaine, how does one keep up with the scandals? If you are Nicole Richie, you lose some weight.
According to pictures and reports, the reality TV star has dropped some pounds off her already tiny frame, apparently in an effort to win over her boyfriend Joel Madden. But unless Joel finds skeletal frames attractive, the plan could backfire like it did with Nicole's ex-fiance Adam Goldstein.
A friend of the Richie family has told Star magazine, "Her family's worried again. Her bones are showing, and she's really skinny. No one wants to see a repeat of last summer."
In 2006, Nicole was pictured running along a California beach looking emancipated in an ill-fitting bikini. She has since sought treatment for her weight problem and gained some much needed pounds. "The Simple Life" star even worked as a counselor at a fat camp.
However, the insider continues that Nicole is deep in a new routine to shed weight of her frame. They said, "She's working out too much and not eating enough. She's working out about an hour a day on the stationary bike and elliptical machine, plus she's lifting weight."
When she was arrested in December, the 25-year-old weighed just 85 pounds.
Nicole's weight probably won't win her any fans. But it is her existing Australian supporters who are unimpressed with her. When she touched down in Sydney for the MTV Video Music Awards, Nicole rushed straight past waiting well-wishes.
