Nicole Richie's pregnancy is never going to be normal.
First of all, there is her tiny weight to consider and her constant paparazzi pressure. Then, to add to the drama of the situation, Nicole will be spending four days in prison.
The starlet, who revealed to Diane Sawyer that she is almost four months pregnant to Joel Madden, says that despite the pressures of fame and her legal woes she is pleased with the news.
She said, "I couldn't be happier. I will be really happy once I have done my jail time. I can start fresh."
The former "The Simple Life" star acknowledged, "I want to be happy and stable. My life is clearly going to slow down."
The 25-year-old starlet told OK! magazine that she is not dreading jail time because she wants to learn her lesson. The mother-to-be said, "I don't consider it one of the worst. I think this was a blessing in disguise. This year has been full of lessons learned and soul searching and realizing I'm an adult. It's time to take responsibility and not take the easy way out."
Nicole and Joel are not currently engaged but the socialite said she sees a wedding in her future. She said, "Yeah, it will be a really huge one!"
Nicole was previously engaged to celeb spinner DJ AM.
