Nicole Kidman's children refuse to call her mom.
The Oscar-winning actress says Isabella, 14, and 12-year-old Connor - her two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise - are reluctant to use the traditional parental moniker and instead call her Nicole, much to her annoyance.
She told U.K. TV show "GMTV", "My kids don't call me mommy, they don't even call me mom. They call me Nicole, which I hate and tell them off for it."
The "Golden Compass" star recently revealed she is unhappy Isabella and Connor are being raised as Scientologists in Los Angeles.
Catholic Nicole lives in Nashville with her second husband Keith Urban, while her children live with Scientologist Tom and his new wife Katie Holmes.
She said, "Yes, they're being raised as Scientologists. I don't want to go there. My daughter and son, their life is molded by the way I live. If I wasn't willing to take on that responsibility, I shouldn't have adopted them. Then it can be argued that I should never have divorced, and that's true, too, but sometimes you don't have a decision in that. People fall out of love, they do."
"When children are teenagers, they have a say in where they want to be. Los Angeles is a big draw, and I'm looking to get a place there so we can share more."

i find it sad that they call her Nicole but it is her fault for staying away from them for too long

it's her own fault. she doesn't care about those kids, thank god they have a loving father, no matter how weird he is. Nicole is conent with her new life without her other kids. shame on you nicole!

You know it's a shame we're all so quick to blame Nicole for being a terrible mother when none of us have any idea what is going on in her and Tom's (or any other celebrity for that matter) personal life. Stop reading the tabloids folks and thinking you get to determine what kind of person she is when you have no idea. Go live your own life and leave her to live hers

What type of person is nicole, well i can tel you exactly she is selfish dishonest and set out for money at all costs
the children were a publicity stunt and nothing more, her comment prior to adopting those kids was How lucky the kids were to get her and tom as parents, nicole never intended to care for them they were orphans and they were used and would have contracts to protect tom and nicole's money as well. Tom and nicole are evil people who used the orphans for publicity and now have their own children and didnt even bother on bellas 18 th

you people are all idiots! You don't know anything about her and her children other than what you read in the tabloids. Her ex is a very powerful person and his "church" is very powerful. And, no, God does not punish "unfit mothers" by making them infertile. Take a long look around you at the adoptive mothers that you know: you know all the fine Christian ladies that cannot reproduce? Sometimes, it's the man's physical problem that leads to infertility. learn some basic science and get a life!

Nicole was made to give those children up if people really knew the sick twisted head of Tom Cruise and how he got those children by minipulation you would know how Nicole is a loving mother who had her heart ripped out because of that idiot.
