Nick Lachey's sex video is said to be so explicit it could damage his career. The former 'Newlyweds' star was taped romping with girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo in a hot-tub while vacationing in Mexico.
OK! magazine paid $400,000 to the Mexican paparazzo responsible for the X-rated video and pictures to prevent them ever being published, in exchange for an exclusive interview with Nick and Vanessa.
But a magazine insider told the New York Daily News newspaper: "There's much worse stuff than what got out there on the internet."
"If Nick's fans saw it all, it would definitely change his career, because he has a squeaky-clean image."
Nick - who was previously married to Jessica Simpson and in boy band 98 Degrees - has dismissed the scandal surrounding the hot-tub romp.
He said: "Where's the scandal?"
"I was in Mexico with my girlfriend celebrating our first anniversary together on a private vacation. It's not like I was caught with a Mexican hooker. We've all gone out and had a few too many and done something stupid. We've all made mistakes."
