Nick Nolte has become a father for the second time at the age of 66. The troubled actor - who was charged for DUI in September 2002, and subsequently checked into Connecticut's Silver Hill rehabilitation center - welcomed the baby girl with his partner Clytie Lane in Los Angeles last Wednesday.
A representative for Nick said: "The baby girl, who has yet to be named, weighed 7lbs and 13oz at birth. Both mother and daughter are doing well."
The actor first met the 38-year-old British fitness instructor when she came to his home to teach him Pilates.
Nick, who has been married and divorced three times, also has a 20-year-old son, Brawley, from his marriage to Rebecca Linger.
The troubled star, who has a history of alcohol and drug problems, caused a stir in July when he passed out at Hawaii's Kauai Airport. He was described at the time as "dripping in sweat and barely able to keep his bloodshot eyes open."
Nick can next be seen in 'The Mysteries of Pittsburgh' alongside Jodie Foster and Sienna Miller, and is currently filming the Ben Stiller comedy 'Tropic Thunder' with Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr.
