Nick Lachey has been caught canoodling with new love Vanessa Minnillo.
The stunning MTV host reportedly treated the pop singer to a lap dance and kissed and held hands with him as they partied at New York's lavish Butter club on June 24.
Later in the evening, Minnillo danced on banquets and sat on Lachey's lap while serenading him with Justin Timberlake's new song 'SexyBack'.
Lachey then left her to carry one dancing while he drank shots with former 'That 70s Show' star Wilmer Valderrama.
The seemingly smitten couple left hand in hand together at around 3am.
Meanwhile, Lachey's ex-wife, Jessica Simpson, narrowly avoided an awkward meeting with Minnillo last week.
The blonde star appeared on MTV's 'Total Request Live' show - which is co-presented by Minnillo - to unveil her new music video 'A Public Affair'.
Luckily for Jessica, Minnillo was not available to host the programme, so the actress was asked to step into her shoes and read from the autocue. However, Jessica was so nervous about the premiere of her new promo she stuttered through her lines.

vanessa is stupid she just likes the fact that she is with him and every chance she gets she is trying to let people know she is with nick trying to hug and kiss him in public on purpose so they can get a picture of her with him. I dont like her!!!

Nick, go for Venessa. she is a good girl, down to earth and intelligent. Jessica is all that glitters is not gold. She is jealous of you and Vanessa. Get over it life goes on. Jessica will come back crying like girls always do when the guy moves on. Her song is not thta great,her shoes are ugly and she is a has been. Ashley simpson has goals and Jessica is now living the shadow.

i think there is some feelings there...but i think some part of vanessa's feelings is that he IS Nick Lachey and she is the one with him now. It's like she is rubbing it in Jess' face. I am a huge jessica fan and her and nick belong together. They just don't know it...lol..

I think that nick and jessica were the cutes couple,but then why did nick want to date venessa?why did jessica and nick even divorced??They(nick and jessica)were so good and nice to each other!! hey don't write things like they should get back together because that jessica cheated on poor Nick, he was so good to her even she didn't know how to open a tin can.. if you like your women to cheat and can't open tin cans then I hope you get one.
Nick really loved her and she paid him by cheating.. I really hate jessica for putting Nick through that hurt.. I thank Venessa for coming into Nicks life.
