Naomi Watts is "terrified" of working with lover Liev Schreiber again.

The actress says Liev - the father of her six-month-old son Alexander - is "so good" that the prospect of starring alongside him in the future makes her nervous.

She said, "We acted together in 'The Painted Veil' in 2006, and we are looking for more things we can do together.

"It's terrifying though, because he's so, so good. We talk about all sorts of possible projects, then we laugh and say, 'Thank God no-one was here to hear that.' "

Naomi also revealed she had a soft spot for Liev even before they met.

She added to Esquire magazine, "I had a major crush on him before we met just from watching his films.

"Then I saw him on stage in 'Glengarry Glen Ross' in 2005 and I was just in awe of him."

Naomi can be seen later this year starring in the brutally violent Michael Haneke film 'Funny Games U.S.'
