Naomi Campbell's diary is not filled with insight into her extravagant life as a supermodel, detailing her collection of designer clothes and diamonds. Instead, Naomi writes about a chore most people prefer not to do... sweeping.
The supermodel has completed court-ordered community service which saw her cleaning city streets for a week. The sentence stems from an assault incident when Naomi threw a mobile phone at an employee.
Now, Naomi's thoughts are being printed in W magazine, detailing her time as Cinderella rather than the celebrity princess she usually is.
The star wrote, "I find solace in sweeping. I have no other responsibility. I have no phone. I have the time to think. Just have, you know, peace."
For Naomi, being made to clean for a few days changed her as a person. While most people call it mundane housework, for the model it was a chance to reevaluate her life.
She continued, "I'm such a controlling person. Some people can handle a drink or a line of cocaine. For me, it's all or nothing so it has to be nothing."
Naomi has turned over a new leaf since her last anger management incident.
