Hot-blooded supermodel Naomi Campbell has flown off to Brazil to donate her blood, but the country has rejected her offer.

The British catwalk beauty, who had been hospitalized in the South American country for a removal of a cyst in February, had left London Monday to donate her blood and to raise awareness on the dengue epidemic. This is to help the country's battle against the mosquito-borne disease.

She had announced before flying off, "I have to help Brazil and will donate blood."

However, her goodwill has proven to be futile as Brazil has rejected her blood.

The reason being wasn't anything personal, officials turned her away because of medical reasons.

Because Campbell, 37, had undergone a surgery two months ago, she needs to wait longer before donating blood.

Meanwhile, Campbell can still enjoy her trip to the country despite the rejection. OK! Magazine reports she frequently visits the Latin country and Mayer Cesar Maia has invited her to be their goodwill ambassador for the city.
