The evidence is there, but Carmen Electra says reality television did not break up her marriage.
The former "Baywatch" star split from rocker Dave Navarro in 2006 and divorced in February.
MTV captured their nuptials and initial married life for a celebrity reality TV show called "Til Death Us Do Part: Carmen & Dave."
But the split comes as other MTV couples have parted ways. Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, who experienced worldwide success with "Newlyweds," ended their marriage after the show wrapped and Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler met the same fate at the end of "Meet The Barkers."
However, Electra says that "The Osbournes" prove that televised couples can make a relationship work.
She said, "I don't believe so, though many people have been put off (reality TV shows). Just look at Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne . Those two are totally happy and they had the cameras following them for years. I went to their place for New Year's Eve actually, and they seem happier and crazier than ever. It was so funny because the animals got out and began running amok and poor Ozzy was trying to round them up. He got so mad."
Electra and Navarro have remained friends following their split.
