Chris Rock will take a DNA test to determine whether he is the father of a 13-year-old boy.
Kali Bowyer filed a paternity suit against Rock in Georgia's Superior Courtlast month claiming he was the father of her son Jordan.
Rock's lawyer said his client is willing to take the test but is busypromoting his latest movie.
Bowyer told the New York Daily News newspaper: "I'm not asking for money for myself nor am I suing him for $1 million. I'm just seeking a DNA test toestablish paternity, medical coverage and child support."
Bowyer, a 35-year-old freelance journalist, contacted Rock's lawyer shortlyafter son's birth but admits she never pressed the issue.
She got back in contact with Rock's lawyer after Jordan suffered a seizureand she couldn't afford the costly medical bills.
Bowyer said: "Chris and I were part of the same group of friends. I wouldn'teven call it dating. We were two consenting adults who had sex once in awhile. No strings attached."
Bowyer says she only wants to protect her son - just as Rock protects hisdaughter with wife, Malaak.
She said: "If his child was sick, he'd be knocking down doors."
