A letter written by Britain's Princess Diana claiming Prince Charles was plotting to kill her has been shown at the inquest into her death.

The note - which she wrote to her then butler Paul Burrell in October 1993, 10 months after her split from the Prince of Wales - spoke of her fear that she would be murdered so Charles could marry her sons Princes William and Harry's former nanny, Tiggy Legge-Bourke.

Britain's Princess Diana chauffeur was driving "like a maniac" on the day she died, her inquest heard yesterday.

Holistic healer Myriah Daniels explained she feared for her life when she was driven by Henri Paul - who was behind the wheel of Diana's Mercedes when it crashed in Paris' Pont d'Alma tunnel on August 31, 1997 - in the afternoon before the fatal accident.

Henri Paul was granted "specific status" which allowed him to drink alcohol on the night Britain's Princess Diana was killed in a car crash.

Henri - who was behind the wheel of Mercedes when it crashed into pillar 13 of the Paris' Pont d'Alma tunnel on August 31, 1997, killing Diana, her lover Dodi Fayed as well as himself - was given permission to drive while he was under the influence, even though others disapproved.

French Paparazzi Refuse To Give Evidence In Diana Inquest

The inquest into the death of Britain's Princess Diana was thrown into chaos yesterday after French paparazzi refused to give evidence again. For the second time in two weeks the photographers did not appear at London's High Court to testify at the hearing into the Paris car crash that killed Diana, her lover Dodi Fayed and driver Henri Paul on August 31, 1997.

The French government has refused to force the photographers to justify their actions and many are claiming it is part of an official cover-up.

Record producer Jacques Morel claims there was a plot by photographers to "block" the Mercedes Diana was travelling in as they were desperate to get a picture of her and her lover Dodi Fayed as they left the Paris Ritz hotel.
