Mischa Barton is not the only girl in her family dealing with unfortunate issues.
While the former "The O.C" actress is laying low following her DUI arrest, her sister has reportedly been treated for a suspected drug overdose.
Hania Barton, an aspiring actress and singer, was allegedly rushed to a Los Angeles hospital after she overdosed on the muscle relaxant Soma.
However, a spokesperson for the Barton Family has blasted the tabloid media for reporting on the unknown Barton's condition.
The representative told PEOPLE, "Mischa understands that as an actress and a public person she needs to address her issues in a timely and appropriate manner. That being said, she's the only public person in her family and we will not address these sleazy, tabloid reports."
"I think these pieces of s--- who work at hospitals and sell private information are not only breaking the law, but they're morally reprehensible. They're selling people's private information for the price of dinner for four at Lawry's. And I hope they choke on their prime rib."
According to The National Enquirer magazine, Hania attempted suicide by taking the drugs.
