Mischa Barton and Nicole Richie are frequent shopping BFF's - but the friendship may cool off after some recent comments.
Mischa, whose skinny body once walked around the set of "The O.C.," insists she is not too skinny, despite often being named as one of the culprits.
The actress, who is becoming more known for her kooky dress sense than her acting career, has denied she has a weight problem - but says that Nicole does.
Mischa said, "I am a normal weight. I understand the responsibility that comes with a role in a TV show that is watched by millions of teenagers... but the thing is that I am naturally this shape. I have a very fast metabolism and it is sometimes annoying when you are compared to people who are clearly not naturally that way."
While Nicole has always insisted that she does not have an eating disorder, blaming her weight loss on everything from stress to hypoglycemia, Mischa believes she does have issues.
She said, "I am sensitive to people like Nicole who have body issues, but I am always pretty much the same weight."
But to be fair, Nicole has recently been seen prancing around L.A. with new love Joel Madden, looking much healthier than she did last summer.
