Mischa Barton was "a loner" at school. The former 'O.C.' star - who played wild child Marissa Cooper in the hit TV show and stars as the most popular girl in school in new movie 'Assassination of a High School President' - has revealed her own school days were very different from her acting roles.
Mischa said: "I was not popular in high school, I can definitely say that. I only had, like, three boys who were my friends and one girl. I was a bit of a loner, I guess."
The 22-year-old actress' new movie - which also stars Bruce Willis as the psychotic high school principal - sees her playing a "vixen" and sharing steamy bath scenes with 19-year-old actor Reece Thompson.
Mischa added to MTV: "I was trying to play the vixen character - especially the love scenes in the bathtub with Reece. I don't want to give anything away, but they were some really funny scenes."
