Jessica Simpson should be thanking her lucky stars that she is still being offered movie roles after "Blonde Ambition" and "The Dukes Of Hazard."
But the threat of another box office bomb has reportedly not stopped Jess from stretching her muscles as a diva on the set of "Major Movie Star."
According to an on-set source, Jess is not showing her appreciation at being given another opportunity to play the lead role in a film and is instead abusing everyone around her.
The insider told National Enquirer magazine, "Jessica is acting like a spoiled brat. She throws tantrums and gripes about the heat. After a week of having to tolerate her, we're all ready for her to pack her bags and hit the road."
Jessica is starring in the unofficial remake of 80s hit "Private Benjamin" with "Ugly Betty" Vivica A. Fox, but isn't making any friends.
The source continued, "Jessica barely speaks to her co-star, Vivica A. Fox, and insists on eating by herself in her trailer rather than in the tents set up for the cast and crew! And while Vivica and everyone else walk the set, Jessica has a driver ferry her from one location to the next - even if she only has to walk 100 feet!"
The single star, who broke up with John Mayer before filming began, has even been a difficult boss to her four personal assistants.
The loud mouth crewmember said, "She went on a loud tirade, screaming at the wardrobe people because her outfit was too hot and she was sweating. She spouted the F-word like a sailor. Her F-bombs were heard practically all over the base. Everyone was mortified."
Jessica's career has stalled in the past year. After hitting a high note with "Newlyweds", her music and film career have been on the downward spiral since she took the cameras out of her house and divorced Nick Lachey.
