"Factory Girl" has received both praise and criticism since production began on the Andy Warhol and Edie Sedgwick biopic.

But the outburst from folk legend Bob Dylan has caused the biggest stir, since the musician wants to block the film from being released.

Dylan claims that a character based on him in the true story is defamatory and wants to halt viewing of the anticipated film.

However, the film's star Sienna Miller is shocked at Dylan's reaction.

The stylish star, who plays Warhol's muse Sedgwick, disputes Dylan's claims saying, "It blames Warhol more than anyone."

She continues, "It very obviously looks and sounds like Dylan. But I think a lot of actors base performances on real life...I'm Bob Dylan's biggest fan. I'm mortified that he's p**sed off."

The film has recently opened in the U.S in time for Academy Award voters to consider it for nominations.
