Teen idol Miley Cyrus is upset over leaked Internet pictures of her with a girlfriend. The Hannah Montana star insists they are innocent.
"They're nothing bad!" the sold-out concert artist says. "At first, I was really upset. It really sucks," 15-year-old Cyrus says. "Look at me getting all upset!
"It's not something I'm going to let slide. I'm really upset about it, 'cause it was, like, not even a big deal."
Cyrus describes the blonde girl with her on the pictures as "a friend of mine that's a normal girl. That's one of my best friends. I have all these girls who I hang out with all the time."
The daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus says she is used to all kinds of attentions but her friend is not. "I have to deal with that anyways." It just would be hard for her friend as she is not a celebrity like her. "This girl doesn't even have to deal with that, and it's so hard. [Now] she has to go to school and deal with this crap."
Cyrus maintains that there's nothing more to the pictures than what the public is saying. "It's two girls at a sleepover, and if all of a sudden that's bad, then what is the world coming to?"
