Several actresses are leading the way to raise money for their favorite charities. Miley Cyrus and Jessica Alba, among others, have each designed their own "Spread the Love" T-shirt with designers at the Los Angeles based fashion line 2 LOVE.
Mischa Barton, Vanessa Hudgens and Alyssa Milano are also following suit with their own designs. The shirts will be sold for $50 each, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the charity of her choice.
Cyrus' design will benefit the 1736 Family Crisis Center, while the profits from Alba's creation will be donated to help the StepUp Women's Network.
Jessica Alba loved the task, saying, "I had a blast being creative and designing this tee shirt, and I know whenever I see these tees on women, I'll be reminded to 'Spread the Love'!"
Milano will be donating her proceeds to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), where she also serves as an ambassador. She told People.com, "I love the idea behind the 2 LOVE clothing. It is fun to mix fashion and charity."
"The cute tank makes a statement, and helps UNICEF increase public awareness of the challenges facing the world's children and create positive change around the globe."
