Michelle Williams has no regrets. The former "Dawson's Creek" actress has told a U.K. magazine before Heath Ledger's death that she doesn't have any regrets with having a relationship with the actor even if it failed because in the end she had their daughter, Matilda.
She said to U.K. Vogue: "Going through a breakup is a really humanizing experience. It just strips you to your core. You're nothing but feeling, nothing but emotion."
"There's no difference between my breakup and anyone else's, so to have to pretend you're happy and sunny..."
Williams insisted that despite the relationship's failure, she's happy to have experience it because of a "hell-raising cherub."
She continues, "I can't regret a single second of it because of this little hell-raising cherub sleeping in the room next to me."
"I hate to sound Pollyanna-ish about it, but that part is true. She's bigger than any heartache could ever be."
Williams and Ledger met on the set of the award-winning film "Brokeback Mountain." They ended their relationship in September last year.
