Tough girl Michelle Rodriguez gets out of jail early. The former Lost actress has been released from prison after completing just 17 days of her 180-day sentence, TMZ.com reports.
29-year-old Rodriguez checked into the Lynwood, California jail on December 23 to serve her sentence for violating probation. Her probation stemmed from her DUI arrest and by not completing her community service. She had also admitted to drinking three times while wearing an alcohol-monitoring anklet.
"She's nice, personable, down to earth... nothing like Paris Hilton," a correctional officer says. "She asked to work. She said she wanted a job and didn't want to be isolated like other celebs," the source says of the Fast and the Furious star who helped work in the kitchen.
Superior Court Judge Daviann L. Mitchell had forbidden an early release for Rodriguez when she entered the facility. However, the order was overridden due to jail overcrowding and for her good behavior, legal experts explain.
