Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have called off their engagement.

The "Desperate Housewives" actress and the "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You" singer - who have had an on-off relationship since 1992 - split "amicably", according to Nicollette's representative.

Ashley Judd has suffered from depression since she was eight. The 'De Lovely' actress claimed no one noticed her "severe loneliness" because her mother, country music singer Naomi Judd, was always away on tour.

She told Town and Country magazine: "I had a very unsafe and unstable childhood about 10 months out of the year."

When you are famous, engaged, and in the public eye, the question constantly comes up about when you will be getting married. That's what couple Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton face, after announcing their engagement more than two years ago.

Singer-songwriter Bolton, 55, says they are so busy they haven't had time. He told People.com that he never stops touring and traveling. He added that because of the writers' strike, Sheridan is working extra long hours on the set of "Desperate Housewives."
