Rosie In, Star Out?

Rosie In, Star Out?

Rumor has it that since Rosie O'Donnell officially joining "The View," Star Jones may be on her way out. Sources close to the show reveal that Star felt she should be the moderator, following in Meredith Vieira's footsteps, but the executive producer of the show, Barbara Walters, isn't about to let that happen.

"You can't even mention Star's name around Barbara," reveals the source. "She hates her. Really can't stand her." Barbara gave a backhanded dis to Star in an interview about the brewing beef between Rosie and Star. "The only concern would be Star's," said Barbara. "If Star wants to continue to be there, she is welcome."

Star Might Be Booted From

Star Might Be Booted From "The View"

ABC's "The View" appears to falling apart at every turn. Insiders reveal that original "Dreamgirls" star Sheryl Lee Ralph may be replacing Star Jones, and Meredith Vieira may be replacing Katie Couric if she leaves NBC's "Today."

The skinny (no pun intended) is that Star is about to get the boot because of her "abrasive" antics. Star's ABC contract expires in August, and no word yet on whether "the powers that be" will be ready to endure another contract negotiation with her.
