Melissa Joan Hart has "a little beef" with Heather Mills. The former "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" star says she was approached to star in the first season of U.S. TV talent show "Dancing With The Stars," but was forced to turn it down because she was pregnant.

However, when she expressed interest in appearing in the fifth series of the program, Melissa says she was overlooked because bosses were so keen to get Sir Paul McCartney's ex-wife on the hit show.

Melissa said: "I was bumped for a lady. I am not going to mention her name... a little British chippy. I think she took my spot, I'm not sure, but I have a little beef with her."

The 32-year-old actress - who first shot to fame when she starred in TV show "Clarissa Explains It All" - also expressed her concern for teenagers who grow up in the movie industry.

Speaking on U.S. TV talk series "The Bonnie Hunt Show," she added: "These kids are like franchises right now. They are not just acting and singing. As soon as you have a TV show or a hit song, all of a sudden, you have to have a clothing line, a fragrance, you've to got put out a country album - are you kidding me?"

"I don't know how they do it. No wonder they crash at the age of 23."
