Meat Loaf isn't going to sit there and watch his fans get ripped off without saying something about it.
The rocker recently attacked promoters behind his sold-out New York concert at the Palace Theater after he was told fans paid up to $250 for a seat at his special show.
However, Meat Loaf had nothing to do with the ticket pricing.
The "I'd Do Anything For Love" singer is furious at the hiked up prices fans have had to pay in order to see their favorite musician in concert. He admits ticket prices have simply gotten out-of-control.
He explained, "I was p**sed off. I had no idea they were charging that much money for tickets - 250 bucks? I wouldn't have allowed that. That was way too expensive. It drives me crazy at how expensive tickets are."
He also says nobody should pay such a ridiculous amount for a ticket, adding, "As a kid, I can remember spending 10 bucks to see Buffalo Springfield. Nothing is worth 250 bucks. I don't care who you are. It just puts pressure on me. Thirty-five bucks I can deal with that, but, for 250 bucks, I better come out covered in gold."
