Lindsay Lohan may be one of the most photographed girls in the world, but does that make her the hottest?
The 20-year-old starlet, more famous for her wild partying and controversial behavior than her film career, beat some very obvious choices and came in at number one on Maxim magazine's annual "Hot 100" list.
Lindsay's male fans who think she is more than just party animal will no doubt be happy to hear that she plays a stripper in her next film role - pole dancing and all.
The magazine's editor-in-chief, Jimmy Jellinek, said, "There is no other star in the world (who) causes more of a stir in the public eye than Lindsay. Her every move is watched and reported on."
Although being a paparazzi favorite has got Lindsay into the top spot, other stars had to rely on their natural assets to get noticed. The top ten was filled with the usual choices - Jessica Alba and Scarlett Johansson at two and three respectively.
Married singer Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake's main squeeze Jessica Biel and lovely Latina Eva Mendes were also featured at the top end of the list. Mother-of-four Angelina Jolie finished in twelfth place.
Some of the male voters are looking for something very specific - Ashley Olsen was named 37th on the "Hot 100." But her near-identical twin Mary-Kate? She was left off.
The Maxim "Hot 100" is in its eighth year.
