Matthew McConaughey doesn't want to marry girlfriend Camila Alves, it has been claimed.

The 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days' actor - who has publicly expressed his joy at the prospect of his impending fatherhood - is happy with the relationship the way it is.

One friend told America's OK! magazine: "Matthew is getting used to the idea that he's going to be a father. He says that's enough to deal with right now. He has no plans to walk down the aisle with Camila now - or ever."

However, Matthew's disinterest in marriage has disappointed 24-year-old Camila, her mother and Matthew's 77-year-old mother Kay.

A friend of the Brazilian supermodel said: "Camila comes from a very strict Catholic background. And Matthew's family is very traditional too. Everyone, apart from Matthew, feels a wedding is in order."

It has also been revealed the couple - who will become parents this summer - are expecting a baby boy, after the ultrasound operator accidentally revealed the sex of the baby.

After announcing the happy news last month, Matthew wrote on his official website: "My girlfriend Camila and I made a baby together. We are stoked and wowed by this miracle of creation and this gift from God, and so excited for the adventure that will come in raising this child."
