They might be tight-lipped about their wedding but public record confirms Beyonce and Jay-Z did indeed get married. The superstar couple had filed their signed wedding license Friday in Scarsdale.

People magazine reports that according to Town Clerk Donna Conkling, the license, which lists the wedding date as April 4, was received on Friday afternoon. The "Crazy In Love" singers applied for the license three days before the event itself.

Aretha Franklin has been offensive once again. After infuriating Beyonce's dad over the "Queen" comment, the Queen of Soul has now enraged the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) for wearing fur.

PETA spokesperson Dan Matthews wrote an open letter to Franklin calling her a 'court jester' for wearing dead animals when she attended the Grammy Awards ceremony.

Beyonce's dad apparently has a problem with the offended Queen of Soul. Matthew Knowles, the R&B singer's father/manager, lashes out at Aretha Franklin for taking offense at his daughter's "Queen" remark during her performance with Tina Turner.

It started out when Beyonce introduced Tina Turner as the Queen on stage. Franlin, who is famously known as the Queen of Soul called Beyonce's comment as "a cheap shot for controversy" although she later said that she still "love Beyonce anyway."

Despite what some may think, Beyonce's second solo album "B'Day" still remains on schedule for its release on September 5. Her father and manager, Matthew Knowles, has dismissed rumors that his daughter wanted to delay her album release so she could have more time to work on it.

According to the Washington Post, rumors had also been surfacing that there was some kind of conflict between Beyonce and fellow R&B singer Rhianna. Furthermore, there were reports Beyonce had released her single "Deja Vu" to compete with former Destiny's Child band member, LeToya Luckett's self-titled debut album. LeToya's album debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Charts earlier this month.
