You'd seen him singing and dancing in his dress shirt and briefs in "Risky Business" or hanging on a cord while on an impossible mission. He even got you at hello in "Jerry Maguire." Admit it, you can recall at least one memorable scene or dialogue from most of his movies. So how, in a sudden turnaround, did he manage to turn his own fans against him?

Actor Jason Lee, star of "My Name is Earl," let the sex of his unborn baby slip while being interviewed on Thursday morning's "Today" show. Lee told the talk show hosts that his baby was due in August and that it was a girl.

Lee made the announcement outside in the Rockefeller Plaza on the rainy morning, and seemed to surprise "Today" hosts Meredith Vieira, Matt Lauer, Al Roker and Ann Curry. Lee's girlfriend, and mother of the baby, is Ceren Alkac.

While many stars are undecided about how they feel about the Golden Globe Awards during a Hollywood strike, Julia Roberts is excited.

The Oscar winning mother of three - who has been mostly absent from the screen since giving birth to twins three years ago - told Matt Lauer, "Usually the triumph of my day is everybody making it to the potty. So yes, I think it's thrilling."

Britain's Prince William has defended his brother Prince Harry's "wild" behavior. William, 24, admitted his 22-year-old brother - who has been branded a 'lager lout' and 'party animal' - liked to have fun, but said some of the things written about him were "poisonous."

The comments were made in the brothers' candid interview with NBC, some of which was aired this week.
