Brian Warner is a musician who sings about drugs, wears make-up, makes himself look as ghostly as possible and goes by the name of Marilyn Manson. Dating him is never going to be normal.

But 19-year-old actress Evan Rachel Wood seems to have somehow met her match with the 38-year-old shock rocker, despite being underage to even attend the same clubs as her boyfriend.

Manson and Wood, who found fame as a wayward teen in "Thirteen" are the real deal, according to the singer.

The rocker has revealed that Wood, an angel-faced, blonde starlet, is his "twin" and apparently a much better fit than his former wife, burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese.

With a new album to promote, "Eat Me, Drink Me," Manson is talking about the controversial relationship and has no issues with being old enough to be Wood's father.

He told France's Le Parisien newspaper, "I've found my double, my twin, with my new girlfriend, Evan Rachel Wood. She's 19 and certainly that's very young, but that's not a problem for me."

The connection, according to Manson, is not a shared love of make-up but rather similar lifestyles. Lucky for the musician, Wood is still young enough to handle all night benders.

He continued, "She likes the same things as me. She understands I like to get up when night falls and go to sleep at dawn."

While Von Teese and Manson appeared to be a good match physically, both sporting dark hair and snow white skin, the rocker says that they were not going in the same direction - wherever that may be.

He said, "Our relationship ended at Halloween (and) I was completely destroyed psychologically. I was married to someone who wanted me to change, become more adult, more responsible. I began not to like myself, not like what I do. I lost my identity. Everything began collapsing around me."

Von Teese, in the difficult position of having an ex dating a teenager, has told PEOPLE, that the former couple "are not friends ... But we don't hate each other or anything."
