Eva Longoria is "desperately trying to get pregnant", says "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry.

The actress - who plays Gabrielle Solis in the hit U.S. TV show - is said to be determined to start a family with her basketball player husband Tony Parker.

Marcia Cross ("Desperate Housewives") was involved in a "minor" car accident Wednesday afternoon, her rep told ET.

"Everyone is fine," said her rep.

Pamela Anderson, Ben Affleck and 'Heroes' actress Hayden Panettiere are heading to the White House.

The trio are among a host of celebrities on the star-studded guest list for the White House Press Correspondents Association Dinner. Also invited are 'Desperate Housewives' actress Marcia Cross, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and 'The Hills' star Lauren Conrad. Scottish comic Craig Ferguson will host the evening.
