Newlywed Eva Longoria has been banned from having children by her 'Desperate Housewives' boss.

The show's creator Marc Cherry told the couple during his wedding speech that Eva - who married basketball star Tony Parker in Paris last weekend - can't get pregnant for at least a year because it hasn't been written into her character Gabrielle Solis' storyline.
