Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have gotten married in secret. The "Candy" singer and the alternative rocker - who got engaged last month - tied the knot in a simple ceremony in Savannah, Georgia on Tuesday.

Mandy, 24, and Ryan, 34, applied for a marriage license at the Chatham County Probate office in the early afternoon.

Mandy Moore wants a low-key wedding to rocker Ryan Adams. The singer-and-actress insists she is thrilled about her forthcoming union with Ryan, but wants the marriage to be an intimate event.

Mandy, 24, said: "I'm actually very happy and very excited and sort of perplexed at even the little bit of fuss it's garnered."

Ryan Adams has become engaged to his on-and off girlfriend, actress and singer Mandy Moore. On Tuesday, the couple were spotted grocery shopping in LA with Mandy sporting a ring on her engagement finger.

Moore and the 34-year-old rocker reportedly began dating at the end of 2007 and split during summer 2008 before getting back together in recent weeks. The "A Walk to Remember" actress confirmed the engagement to People magazine; however, no further details have been released.
