Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal is pregnant - and engaged.
The star and her actor fiancee Peter Sarsgaard have been together four years and this will be the first child and marriage for both of them.
Representatives for the couple have confirmed the happy news.
Despite being only 28-years-old, Maggie has already made over 20 films.
She shot to fame after starring in cult drama 'Donnie Darko' alongside her Hollywood star brother Jake, and the sadomasochistic arthouse film 'Secretary' with James Spader.
Golden Globe nominee Sarsgaard - who is considered to be one of the hottest new actors in Hollywood - has starred in the Oscar-winning drama, 'Boys Don' t Cry', 'Shattered Glass', 'Jarhead' and 'Flightplan', opposite Jodie Foster.
The couple have so far only worked together once, in the low-budget 'In God's Hands', however, the film was never released.
