Robert Downey Jr. wants to find Guy Ritchie a new lover. The Oscar-winning actor, who stars in Guy's new movie "Sherlock Holmes," has created a list of desirable women for the British director to date.

Hollywood beauties Jennifer Aniston and Cameron Diaz are reportedly top of Robert's list of possible partners for Guy - who has been single since splitting from wife Madonna last year.

Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow are decorating Mercy's nursery. The 50-year-old singer - who won her appeal to adopt the four-year-old Malawian girl last Friday - has enlisted the help of her close friend to make her new daughter feel "like a little princess" when she arrives in New York.

A source said: "Gwyneth has a home in the Hamptons area of New York and Madonna was so impressed with her daughter Apple's room that she asked Gwyneth to help her kit out Mercy's new bedroom."

Madonna phones her newly adopted daughter Mercy James every night. The "Miles Away" singer won her appeal to adopt the four-year-old Malawian last Friday and has since moved the toddler to a luxury lodge in the country's capital, Lilongwe, and sent a nanny and nurse to look after her.

The U.S. pop star is already doting on her new daughter and speaks to her every day.

Madonna is to meet her 22-year-old boyfriend's parents. The 50-year-old singer wants to take her relationship with underwear model Jesus Luz to the next level and is planning to fly to Brazil to get to know his family.

A friend of the pop star told In Touch Weekly magazine: "Madonna is getting serious, so that's why she wants to meet his family. She has been growing closer to Jesus every day. The big age difference doesn't mean a thing to her."

Madonna's appeal to adopt another Malawian orphan has been successful. The 50-year-old singer - whose bid to give a home to four-year-old Mercy James was rejected in March - has reportedly persuaded three Supreme Court of Appeal judges to approve the adoption.

Two judges have already submitted reports recommending Madonna be granted custody of Mercy, and the third is said to be "in complete unison with them."

Guy Ritchie enjoyed an intimate date with a mystery brunette on Sunday. The British director - who has been linked to several women including Jemima Khan and Elle Macpherson since splitting from wife Madonna last November - dined at the Marmalade cafe in Los Angeles before taking a stroll along the beach with the unnamed woman.

The "RocknRolla" filmmaker appeared content and relaxed as he walked in jeans, T-shirt and a knit vest alongside his stunning companion, who had chosen a white maxi dress, cardigan and high-heeled shoes for their date.
