Madonna has made her fortune entertaining the world through song and dance. However, the star is going to improve her bank balance by investing in property.
The American-born singer has purchased her sixth home in London - for a cool $12 million. Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie bought the property right next to the home they reside in with their three children.
The 10-bedroom Georgian townhouse is situated in the prestigious Marylebone area of central London.
The "Material Girl" singer's portfolio also features a reported 1,200-acre estate in Wiltshire worth $18 million, a $3 million townhouse in Regent's Park and a property worth $7 million, which is used by Kabbalah members.
A source told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, "Madonna has been a very shrewd investor in property...She knows the prices are significantly lower than in Mayfair but that the area is coming up. She has said she'd like to buy the whole street."
The wealthy star also owns pricey property in New York and Beverly Hills.
