Guy Ritchie changed his film 'Revolver' after his wife Madonna ordered him to.

The British director - who shot to fame with his London gangster films "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" and "Snatch" - revealed his superstar spouse had a lot of input in the final cut of the film.

Speaking at a VIP screening of "Revolver" in New York on Friday, Guy said, "We made it shorter and tried to make it simpler. Funnily enough, we took out the bits that my wife recommended we take out the first time she saw it!"

While Guy is happy to take professional advice from Madonna, the filmmaker insists he is in charge at home.

Guy - who has a seven-year-old son Rocco, and two-year-old adopted son David with Madonna, while he is stepdad to the singer's 11-year-old daughter Lourdes - laughed, "I'm the disciplinarian in our family. Madonna is too much of a softie!"

Cheeky Madonna added, "He's my disciplinarian too!"
