If singer Madonna sounded groggy on Ryan Seacrest's morning radio show Thursday morning, it was probably because she was sporting a hangover. She told Seacrest that she and Justin Timberlake had hit the town the night before.
After a free concert in Manhattan on Wednesday, Madonna and Timberlake hit the town. Madonna, 49, said they decided they work too hard and needed to have some fun. Madonna told Seacrest that her usual work ethic is "work hard, and work so hard there's no time to play."
She then told Seacrest that she abandoned her mantra after the concert. "I had a shot of tequila... I may have had a lemon drop, too... We 'tied one on' as they say."
The night of fun took place at New York's exclusive nightspot the Box on the Lower East Side, which was featuring a celebrity filled Jose Cuervo Platino sponsored bash.
According to People.com, Madonna entered the nightclub and stopped at the bar where she sipped on a martini and socialized before going to her table. Timberlake skipped the bar when he came in and went straight to his table where he and his guy friends did shots of Cuervo.
