Michael Jackson's funeral cost a staggering $1million.

The private ceremony for the late 'Thriller' star - who died of acute Propofol intoxication aged 50 in June - was paid with cash released by his estate's administrators and covered the burial at the Holly Terrace Grand Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills as well as flowers, cars, security and a post-funeral dinner.

Michael Jackson has been buried. The late King of Pop was laid to rest at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Thursday night, in a ceremony attended by his family and a host of celebrity friends.

Among the stars who paid their last respects were Elizabeth Taylor, Macaulay Culkin and girlfriend Mila Kunis, Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Gladys Knight, Rev. Al Sharpton, Corey Feldman, Kenny Ortega and Michael's ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley.

Michael Jackson never wanted his children to become celebrities. The late pop icon asked his friend and dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein - who has claimed he could be the father of Michael's eldest kids Prince Michael I, 12, and 11-year-old Paris - to ensure his children had "normal" upbringings if he ever died.

Arnold's lawyer Mark Kaplan said: "Michael had asked Dr. Klein over the course of their friendship that if something were to happen to him while his children were still minors that Dr. Klein, as a friend, would do what he could do to protect the children from living the life of an entertainer.

Macaulay Culkin is the father of Michael Jackson's youngest son. The "Home Alone" star - who became friends with Michael in 1990, when he was just 10 years old - reportedly donated sperm to create Prince Michael II, known as Blanket.

The sperm was then inserted into an unknown surrogate mother, and Blanket was born in 2002, when Macaulay was 22 years old.

Macaulay Culkin's sister has died after being hit by a car. Dakota, 29, was walking along the side of the street in Los Angeles on Tuesday when she stepped off the curb and was struck by a moving vehicle.

Following the incident, she was rushed to the city's UCLA Medical Center to be treated for her injuries, but died on Wednesday.

Claudia Schiffer has no plans to swap modeling for acting. The supermodel - who is married to 'Stardust' director Matthew Vaughn - doesn't want to star on the big screen because she will always be a fashion girl at heart.

She said: "I don't want to work as an actress - my job is in fashion."
