| Britney Spears' parents may be divorced but they are still united when it comes to their daughter's interest in mind. Lynne has reportedly been praising her ex-husband for being in command of the pop star's estate and well being. A source tells People magazine that Lynne is impressed with Jamie for taking good care of their troubled daughter. | |
| Britney Spears' parents have been urged by PETA to keep their daughter away from dairy products. The animal rights group are concerned Britney's love of ice cream could be making her bipolar disorder worse. PETA president Ingrid Newkirk wrote to Jamie and Lynne Spears: "We have heard that Britney asked for ice-cream while she was in the hospital. There could, in fact, be a connection between her diet and her mental-health problems." | |
| Sam Lutfi refutes Lynne Spears' testimony. The manager and pal of Britney Spears speaks to E! News denying the allegations Lynne has signed on her court declaration. "I'm not worried about what Lynne is saying. It's not true," Lutfi says. | |
| Lynne Spears' friends have defended her parental skills. Long-term pals of the Spears family have come forward in support of Lynne and have also revealed her "desperation" to help her troubled 26-year-old daughter Britney. Joy, who has known Lynne for over 20 years, said: "Lynne is portrayed as a bad mother, a mother that doesn't care, a mother interested in money, but that's simply not the truth." | |
| Britney's parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears went in at L.A. Superior court Friday for undisclosed reasons. However, reports are circulating that the Spears are filing for conservatorship, which would allow them to make medical decisions on behalf of Britney and control her finances. Britney's long time companion and manager Sam Lutfi is enraged with the parents goal to take over. Us magazine reports that Lutfi calls her family "crazy" and that she doesn't "trust anything that her family says." | |
| Lynne Spears has vowed to stand by her troubled daughter Britney. Despite being shunned by the 'Toxic' star - who is currently battling for visitation rights to see her two sons, Sean Preston, two, and 16-month-old Jayden James - Lynne insists she will continue to do everything in her power to help the 26-year-old singer. She said: "Britney is on my mind day and night. She never leaves my thoughts. I love Britney dearly, and I want nothing more than to protect her and make everything all right for her." | |
