Britney Spears' parents may be divorced but they are still united when it comes to their daughter's interest in mind. Lynne has reportedly been praising her ex-husband for being in command of the pop star's estate and well being.
A source tells People magazine that Lynne is impressed with Jamie for taking good care of their troubled daughter.
"Jamie had to change his whole routine. Lynne sings his praises. He has been such a rock. He has stepped up to the plate," the source says.
"He's gathered a team of reputable people who are around [Britney] now. She's not well, but for the first time in a long time she has people around her who really care about her."
Lynne is currently balancing her time and going back and forth between Louisiana and Los Angeles to take care of both her daughters. Their youngest, 16-year-old Jamie Lynn, is pregnant and still needs guidance and care.
"Lynne and Jamie want their child to be whole again."
