Just by looking at him, one can tell that some things aren't normal with David Gest, but nothing could prepare a London hotel staff for what this producer had in store for them.
According to staff members, David is the worst guest they've ever had at their hotel.
When Liza Minnelli's former husband stayed at the lavish Lanesborough hotel in London, he had a rather unusual request for the staff. The 53-year-old apparently wanted to do some mixing and matching with this striped fella and asked for - get this - zebra milk.
Staff members admit they expected Liza to have over the top demands but nothing could beat what David had outlined for them.
According to Britain's The Sun, one worker at the hotel explained, "He was an absolute pain. Anyone would think he was world famous, not his wife. He made a string of bizarre requests. It culminated in him ringing the butler bell and demanding room service bring him a pint of fresh, chilled zebra milk."
The employee added, "When he was told we only had cow, goat, sheep and soya he threw a screaming fit. He said we should ring London Zoo to see if they had any."
David was so adamant about getting his strange milk that he would not settle until the hotel's head butler, Sean Davoren, was able to get several pints of the dairy from a shop by Regents Park.
In the end, Sean explained that the looney TV producer stopped whining like a baby when he was finally fed his zebra milk every day, for $20 a pint.
