Actress Liv Tyler grew up in a rock 'n' roll house, but that doesn't mean she wants her son to do the same. Her son Milo is three years old.

Tyler, who is starring in the "Incredible Hulk," said she doesn't want her son to follow in the footsteps of her rocker father Steven Tyler, or the man she called dad for a decade, musician Todd Rundgren.

In the July issue of British Cosmopolitan, Tyler said she now lives a quiet life after separating from her husband of five years, Spacehog singer Royston Langdon.

Tyler's own childhood was very rock 'n' roll with her mom Bebe Buell, a former Playboy centerfold. Tyler was raised as the daughter of rocker Rundgren, until she discovered in 1988 that Aerosmith frontman, Steven Tyler, was her biological father.

"I love my parents, but I've never wanted my son Milo, who's three now, to be brought up in the same way as me," she told the magazine. "I'm not attacking them for it, I just wanted a different way for my son."
