It's been a long time since we last heard from Liv Tyler, but now the blue-eyed brunette is ready to jump back into the public eye and into the acting field.
Liv Tyler recently revealed that she almost gave up acting so she could become a full-time mom and live in the country.
The "Lord of the Rings" star took last year off to give birth to her first child, Milo, and has now admitted she nearly turned her back on Hollywood altogether.
Liv told the Buffalo News newspaper, "It was really a reflective period for me, and I was asking myself all these questions, like, 'Should I retire and move to the country and have lots of babies?' That year off helped me realize I love what I do."
The 29-year-old actress - the daughter of Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler - is currently filming the new thriller "The Strangers" in South Carolina, in the heart of the nation's tobacco country. And Liv is enjoying the relaxed attitude to nicotine consumption
She said, "What's really great about this place is you can smoke almost anywhere."
The brunette actress initially liked the title of the film because she thought it was a comedy but when she started reading the nail biting script about a couple trying to survive when three masked strangers invade their home, she couldn't put it down.
She said, "I had stacks of scripts on the plane. I liked the title of this one because it sounded like a comedy. After reading the first three pages, I was stuck on it and called my agent and said, 'Please get it for me. I want to be in this movie.'"
