Singer Lily Allen had a little too much fun at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in London on Tuesday. She ended up having too much to drink and had to be helped home by her brother.
Allen took to her MySpace page on Wednesday to tell her fans that she feels awful for getting "very drunk" and that it wasn't cool.
"Last time I wrote here, I was defending my honor and dignity, explaining my innocence and also outrage at the press for insinuating my behavior was embarrassing," she wrote, referring to being criticized for topless photos. "This time I'm putting my hands up, I got very drunk last night, too drunk. It's not cool getting that drunk."
Allen attended the awards ceremony with hot pink hair, and took home an award for her multi-faceted career. After drinking too much, however, her younger brother Alfie came to the rescue and carried her out of the ceremony.
On her blog Allen warned her fans about the effects of drinking too much. She also said, "Kids, drink responsibly or you'll end up looking like this, not pretty!," she said. "Was quite fun though, from what I can remember."
