Singer Lily Allen admits typical girl envy behavior. The then size 12 English artist had criticized her peers for doing sexy photo shoots, which she said she did all out of envy.
Allen had earlier called Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Tweedy for a "stupid bitch" for "taking her clothes off." But after losing almost 21 pounds down to size 8 in just six weeks, the Smile singer is now singing a different tune. She has posed for the latest issued of men's magazine, GQ in scantily clad attire.
"This shoot was a big thing for me. A lot of the stuff I said before was probably because I didn't feel confident enough to do this." Allen admitted that her earlier bashing of other girls was due to the fact that she was not comfortable with her own body.
"I felt like, 'Oh, God, I'm short, fat, ugly... and I hate all those people that flaunt their beauty.' But I feel great at the moment. It's nice to do this for once."
Allen had explained in earlier interviews that her sudden losing of weight was attributed to cutting back the "crap" she eats and going to the gym thrice a week to do a "hardcore routine." She had revealed to be diagnosed with heart murmur in November.
