Liam Gallagher will give brother Noel $13,000 if his sibling's second child is born on John Lennon's birthday.
The Oasis stars, who are both huge fans of the Beatles legend, are crossing their fingers that Noel's first child with girlfriend Sara MacDonald arrives on October 9.
A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper, "Noel told Liam he would love it if the baby was born on John Lennon's birthday. Noel said it was an ambition. Liam laughed and said he'd give Noel 13,000 if his wish came true. Liam and his partner Nicole Appleton are thrilled to bits for Noel and Sara."
Liam has previously revealed that Lennon, who was shot dead in New York on December 8, 1980, inspired him to become a singer. The rocker and his ex-wife Patsy Kensit named their seven-year-old son Lennon after the iconic musician. Lennon's widow Yoko Ono sent Liam and Patsy baby clothes when he was born in 1999.
Noel and Sara announced they were expecting their first child together earlier this week. The couple - who have been dating for seven years - waited until after Sara had her three month scan to tell family and friends the exciting news.
Noel already has a seven-year-old daughter, Anais, with ex-wife Meg Matthews.
