Believe it or not, radio commercials can come back to haunt you and wish you never ate so many cheetos - just ask Meat Loaf.

The I-will-do-anything-for-love-but-I can't-fit-in-a-pair-of-Levi's-jeans rocker says a Levi's commercial that made fun of people who couldn't squeeze themselves into their denim left him scarred for life.

Meat Loaf - real name Marvin Lee Day - says the radio commercial made him feel absolutely miserable and "nearly destroyed" him. Even as an adult, he can't get over the advertisement he feels was targeted towards him.

He explained to Blender magazine, "My real name is Marvin, and Levi's had a commercial on the radio that said, 'Poor fat Marvin can't wear Levi's.' And I was fat. It nearly destroyed me. I'm still not over it. If we had lawyers growing up, I would own that company...I've always been the poor fat Marvin that can't wear Levi's."

However, the heavy set musician recently had a chance to be the skinny guy he's always desired - on a cartoon. Meat Loaf says he gave the creators of South Park permission to animate him as long as he was made long and lean.

He said, "The closest I've come to being skinny was on South Park. I told them the only way they could use me was if they drew me skinny. So they did."
